It is the oldest community theatre in Manatee County. The Island Players Theatre is located in the Old Community House, a historic building on the corner of Gulf Drive and Pine Avenue (the northern end of Anna Maria Island) in the city of Anna Maria. There are 137 seats in the theatre in tiered rows (stadium seating). There are 4 chairs on the right side of the theatre and 2 chairs on the fireplace side, giving a total seating capacity of 143.
